Private food & symptom journal

FoodPrint

Track meals. Notice what lines up.

A calm, local-first diary for meals, symptoms and timing. No calorie counting, no account and no premature answers.

FoodPrint keeps meals, ingredients, symptoms, notes and timing together in one personal journal. Over time, that creates a clearer record of your own experience.

The app surfaces cautious hints and neutral summaries. You decide what they mean – together with a qualified professional whenever health concerns are involved.

Observe without over-interpreting.

FoodPrint is neither a calorie counter nor a diagnostic tool. It is a private journal for people who want to understand how food, symptoms and timing come together in their own day-to-day life.

The app stays deliberately cautious: possible patterns instead of diagnoses, traceable observations instead of generic diet advice.

What FoodPrint helps you capture

Meals & ingredients

As much detail as works for you.

Log meals, ingredients, notes, time and an optional photo. Reuse recent entries and suggestions to make repeat logging faster.

Symptoms & timing

Record what you actually experienced.

Capture symptoms, intensity and when they appeared. Deliberately link a reaction to a meal or test – FoodPrint does not guess from timing alone.

Cautious insights

Possible patterns, never conclusions.

On-device summaries surface repeated co-occurrences, steadier days and reaction timing. Every hint shows the observations it is based on.

One food at a time

A focused test that you control.

Choose a single food and a time window. Mark exposure days and reactions; FoodPrint neutrally summarizes what you recorded.

Local and private

Your journal stays on your device.

No FoodPrint account, ads, analytics SDK or app-managed cloud sync. Meals, symptoms, tests and photos stay inside the app container.

Export or delete

You stay in control.

Export structured CSV and JSON files through the iOS share sheet or delete the complete local journal, including stored meal photos.

A clear flow for everyday tracking.

Positioning

A food journal without number pressure.

FoodPrint focuses on observation rather than judgment. No calorie goals, scorecards or claim that a body can be reduced to a dashboard. The calm interface gives personal entries room while keeping daily logging quick enough for a real routine.
Technology

Native by design. On-device by default.

FoodPrint is a modern SwiftUI app with local SwiftData storage, local photos, reminders and traceable deterministic summaries. There is no FoodPrint backend receiving journal data and no third-party analytics in the current product.
Responsibility

Useful without pretending to be medical authority.

FoodPrint supports personal self-observation. It does not diagnose intolerances, recommend restrictive diets or replace professional care. Language and summaries remain intentionally cautious – especially when limited data cannot support a reliable conclusion.

Your food. Your experience. Your record.

FoodPrint turns scattered memories into a calm, private journal – so you can observe more clearly without being handed premature answers.
